What you'll get is a Mac compatible SSD including:
(1) Brand new 1TB Intel 3D NAND NVMe M.2 with MacOS Mojave pre-installed.
(2) M.2 NVMe adaptor card for Mac.
The installation process is easy: Upgrade to macOS high sierra or Mojave first, otherwise, the new SSD won't work. Power off your Mac, remove all the screws on the back cover. Carefully remove the Apple stock SSD. Install the new SSD Kit. Put on the back cover and all the screws Power on your Mac, you probably won't hear or see anything during the initial one or two minutes. Please be patient.
To restore from a Time Machine backup, follow these steps: Back up your old SSD using Time Machine. Install the new SSD Kit. Power on your computer while holding down the option key, choose Time Machine drive. Restore the Time Machine backup to the new SSD.
This solution is faster than Apple stock SSD.
