The UWT series digital microscopes provide an economical solution for a broad range of microscopy applications, including materials-analysis, life-science, and dermatology. As a handheld microscope, the UWT can be used for close-up inspection of skin, hair, fabrics, machinery, collectibles, and much more. With the included stand or optional support systems, your hands are freed for applications like soldering and tooling. Compatibility The UWT uses the standard UVC (USB Video Class) driver, and does not require additional software to function with most desktop computers using Windows and Mac OS. A simple USB connection is all it takes. For Android users, the multi-USB connector can be converted to OTG with a simple flip, allowing the microscope to be attached to OTG-compatible devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The microscope draws its power from the USB connection, so you can turn a compatible Android device into a fully-portable digital-microscopy system! Software The included mini-CD offers basic imaging software for Windows and Android. One Windows application allows you to capture photos, and use measurement tools. Another application records videos. For Mac OS, Photo Booth can be used to view a live stream, and capture images. For Android OS, you can use the included app or many other available apps to capture videos and photos.
