- Recorded files will be auto saved into USB drive of user choice. Users can program multiple recording tasks at different time intervals as needed. Date-scheduled task only execute one time on any specified day.
- Weekly scheduling of recording allows users to program recording for one-time only, no recording or repeated recording for any weekday. Supports microphone input for recording with live commentary. Easy operation by IR remote control.
- Supports direct playback function for recorded videos, movies, digital photos and text file formats in MPEG, H.264, RM/RMVB, JPEG, BMP, MP3 and so on.
- Supports recording bit-rate at 4M, 10M or 16Mbps maximum. Recording speed at 120MB per minute or 7GB per hour. Supports all USB hard drive or USB flash drive sizes up to 2 TB maximum in NTFS or FAT/FAT32 format.

Recorded videos are saved into an external USB drive of user choice.
1080p or 720p recording quality is selectable when the video input resolution is 1080p. Otherwise the recording quality will follow the original video input resolution if the input is equal or less than 720p.

[Note]: This device can not record HD content with HDCP encrypted from commercial sources. In such case please use component video output from such HD device HD source for recording.

Users can also use this HD DVR for recording component YPbPr video output or composite RCA video output from sources.
