The optics of these high quality Everest 8x42 binoculars offers minimal reflections and a high transmission. This is thanks to a novel FBMC (Full Broadband Multi Coating) fully multi coated roof-prism ED-glass optics, made of Barium crown glass (BaK-4). It produces especially sharp true colour and high contrast images throughout the whole field of view. Thanks to the marginal near focusing distance even close-up observations can be performed well.
The Everest series, with their nitrogen filled bodies, are waterproof, prevent fogging and avert dirt from entering the binoculars. Stable rubber armour provides robustness and comfort when in use. The large central focusing wheel, wide TwistUp eyecups - that are especially user-friendly for spectacle wearers - provide for comfort and quick usability in all situations. A tripod connection thread is standard for all models.
