• One cartridge covers both the Campbell 1C9-12 and 1C9-30 positions, so you do not have to work out which of the two your system takes. If either number appears on the cartridge you are pulling out or in the system manual, this is the right replacement.
• Carbon reduces the chlorine, bad taste and odor that make treated municipal water unpleasant to drink and cook with, and at 5 micron the cartridge captures sediment on the way through as well. That combination is what a taste and odor cartridge is for.
