The IC-V81-W is the largest in-ceiling speaker in ELAC's new high-performance Vertex Series I line. A pair of these speakers has no trouble dishing out big sound in almost any room. The included grilles sit flush with your ceiling, helping the speakers to visually disappear and let their sound do the talking. The 'V81-W uses a custom-designed 1" silk dome tweeter and 8" polypropylene woofer. The tweeter delivers smooth highs, while the woofer handles the midrange and bass frequencies. Both drivers are connected to a sophisticated custom crossover network that ensures smooth transition between the two.
