The fischer insulation dowel FID is a dowel for attaching lightweight add-on parts in plastered and unplastered insulation panels made of polystyrene and polyurethane. To do this, the fischer FID is set by hand or a cordless screwdriver. The special thread spiral cuts itself positively into the insulation board. The attachments such as letter boxes, lamps or motion detectors can be attached with a 4 to 4.5 mm screw.
