Formatt-Hitech's Starter Kits are the perfect entry into a professional filter holder system. The Starter Kit includes the two essential filters to any filter collection, the 0.6 ND (2 Stops) and the 0.9 ND (3 Stops) The 0.9 ND is an excellent all around filter. 3 stops of light reduction creates opportunities to make water dreamy and ethereal, or open up to a wide open aperture allowing for creamy out-of-focus bokeh. The 0.9 ND is also a great starting point to combine with more advanced filters such as the ProStop IRND 10, or create 13 stops of ND for long exposure photography. Also included is Formatt-Hitech's top of the line 85mm aluminum holder system and 49mm adapter ring. This modular holder system allows for stacking up to three rectangular filters, including one glass filter. Plus using the optional adapter ring, you can fit a circular polarizer. Additionally, the kits include a Filter Basics booklet that gives professional tips and advice on using filters to achieve professional quality results in your photography.
