- MORE INFO: Uses common AAA batteries. Is NOT compatible with rechargeable batteries. Remove the battery cover by pushing on the raised trapezoid on the battery cover. Slide the cover to the right and lift. Close the unit by replacing the battery cover and sliding it to the left until it snaps into place.
