The Course Computer Unit (Reactor40 Steerbywire) is the central processing component of Garmins Reactor40 autopilot system, using a solidstate 9axis Attitude Heading Reference System (AHRS) to sense vessel attitude and maintain heading with minimal deviation and responsive control. It integrates with compatible Garmin chartplotters and autopilot control heads to automatically steer your boat, hold courses, and execute advanced navigation features like step turns and heading hold while reducing helm workload.
