This is a basic digital camcorder. It has an SD card slot for expandable memory. You can take pictures with it. You can also record video up to 720p. Please note that it has digital zoom and no optical zoom. There is a spot on the bottom of the digital camcorder to mount it with a tripod. This is important because there is no image stabilizing capability, or if there is one it is not noticed. This item is available in a variety of colors from Emerson. The only major flaw I found is that when you push too firmly on the power button it stops working. On the plus side it comes with a rechargeable battery (that you can recharge via U.S.B. port.)
