Description

  • Converts 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet to 1000Base-LX single-mode fiber, linking copper network devices to fiber runs through one RJ45 port and one SC duplex port.
  • Single-mode SC fiber port supports links up to 20 km (12.4 miles) at 1310 nm, while the RJ45 connection supports cable distances up to 100 m (300 ft.).
  • Gigabit RJ45 port features auto-sensing, auto-negotiation, and Auto MDI/MDI-X support for straightforward connection to compatible network equipment and endpoints.
  • Supports jumbo frames up to 9 kBytes to help handle larger data packets across the network, with status LEDs for power and link activity on both ports.
  • Works as a stand-alone media converter or installs in the compatible 14-slot media converter chassis, model 507356, for more centralized deployment.
  • Compact metal housing measures 4.1 x 2.8 x 1.0 inches and weighs 0.4 lb, making it easy to place on a desk, shelf, or in a rack-based setup.
  • Includes an external 5 VDC power adapter; maximum power consumption is 3.0 watts. Built to IEEE 802.3, 802.3ab, 802.3u, and 802.3z networking standards.
