MULTIPLE mode allows you to program your radio to receive weather alerts/warnings for up to 23 counties and only send alerts when a threat is received in those specific counties, you will not be disturbed by irrelevant information. With S.A.M.E. code permanent memory feature
- 3 Warning Mode Options: VOICE mode delivers a 3 minutes weather broadcast. SIREN mode activates an alarm that lasts for 5 minutes. DISPLAY mode only turns on the WARNING/WATCH/ADVISORY light. The weather alert radio can store up to 20 different alarms and you can check for missed alarm messages. The emergency radio is equipped with an external antenna interface that improves signal coverage and sensitivity in remote areas. The external alarm flashing light greatly increases the visibility of the alarm
- Emergency Power Backup System: The AC power adapter works 24 hours a day as the main power source for the weather radio. 4AA batteries can be used as an emergency power source during power outages to keep the weather alert radio working properly. Note: Switching power within 10 seconds allows you to maintain the original settings. In addition the weather alert radio has a built-in clock with alarm and snooze functions
