How did Pela start?
Environmental consultant Jeremy Lang is the creator of Flaxstic, the revolutionary material behind Pela cases.
During a trip to Hawaii, Jeremy was shocked to find so much plastic pollution washed up on the shores of this beautiful island.
He decided to fight plastic waste in a meaningful way and created a sustainable alternative: Flaxstic, so called because it is made from flax straw.
