• Blacklight LED kit for creating unique special effects used for lighting fluorescent paints plastics and pigments.
• Kit operates on 8 AA batteries (batteries not included, use AA alkaline batteries) to supply 12 volts DC. The blacklight bulb uses 24 UV LEDs encased in clear silicone rubber. The bulb is a G4 style Bi-Pin that can be removed from the socket. The bulb has a nominal height of 1-1/8 and a diameter of nominal.
• The blacklight bulb wavelength is selected to optimize the glow of fluorescent paints and plastic while minimizing the visibility to the eye of the black energy from the bulb. This kit is intended for use in very low light level environments to dark environments.
• The cable socket assembly with the bulb has an overall length of 11-1/2. The socket is designed to press fit into rigid foam, wood, or other prop and scenery materials.
• Kit parts are made in China. The kit includes 2 pcs black light bulb, 2 pcs cable socket, and 2 pcs battery holder assembly. The cable, and battery holder assembly use DC barrel connectors of the 2.1mm x 5.5mmm size with a center positive polarity. The kit may be operated from a 12 volt DC power supply
