Sink Drain Replacement Kit is a marine-grade sink drain assembly engineered to restore or upgrade drainage performance in boat and RV sink systems. Designed to fit standard marine sinks, the unit features a 100-degree angled elbow for optimal flow dynamics, allowing for complete drainage and minimal standing water. The body of the fitting is constructed from high-impact nylon, which provides high tensile strength, chemical resistance, and long-term durability in both fresh and saltwater environments. The drain includes a flush-mounted white flange with a diameter of 2.15 inches, compatible with a standard 1.5-inch sink cutout. This configuration allows adequate space for sealant application during installation to ensure a watertight seal. The elbow fitting extends approximately 3 inches below the underside of the flange, with over 1.5 inches of threaded length to accommodate thicker countertops or fiberglass sink structures. The kit includes a removable white plastic basket strainer designed to trap solid debris and prevent it from entering the drain hose. A molded crosshair positioned further down the drain acts as a secondary safety feature to prevent the loss of small items when the strainer is removed. The 1-inch hose barb is designed to connect with standard 1-inch marine hose, offering compatibility across a wide range of onboard plumbing systems.
