The encrypted data cannot be accessed without the use of a unique Secure Key Token Authentication. CommanderX EC31 is authenticated by a digital key token, which is inserted for authentication, and removed soon after the device is authenticated, and then ready for encrypted secure data transfer. It features a rugged 1.5 Lb of recycled aluminum case that can be conveniently stacked or mounted vertically. With its built-in fan-less power supply, the Commander can be easily moved from one desktop environment to another using the provided Rocstor stylish carrying case. CommanderX EC31 storage is a powerful large capacity Hard Drive or SSD system that utilizes USB 3.1 Gen2 connectivity for fast data transfer and it is simple and easy to deploy. This high-performance, high-capacity AES-256 encrypted storage solution offers up to 10TB of storage in a single drive. You can connect the CommanderX to any USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports with supplied USB 3.1 Type-C to Type-C and Type-C to Type-A cable. Rocstor CommanderX drives are OS independent and are compatible with Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux. With FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified AES 256-bit Encryption engine, the EC31 requires one Rocstor Token Authentication Key for drive validation before any access to data is granted.
