- Exact Cisco SPA Application: 1-port channelized OC-48/STM-16 to DS3 Shared Port Adapter for compatible carrier and enterprise routing platforms. Cisco officially identifies the part as SPA-1XCHOC48/DS3.
- Operates at 2.488 Gbps OC-48/STM-16 line rate and supports channelized operation where up to 48 paths can each carry a DS3.
- Supported on compatible Cisco ASR 9000 Series systems using the appropriate SIP/SPA hardware configuration. Cisco lists minimum IOS XR 4.0.0 and hardware revision 1.0 for this SPA.
- Also designed for selected Cisco 7600 Series systems with SIP-400 and supported XR 12000 Series configurations. Verify chassis, SIP and software compatibility before installation.
