Support an ultra high definition surveillance network capable of capturing footage in 8K resolution with the Speco 8 Channel 8K H.265 NVR with Facial Recognition and Smart Analytics. This network video recorder (NVR) records surveillance footage captured from up to 8 compatible IP security cameras in resolutions between 720p to 8K to allow you to easily identify subjects and events occurring around your property. Each ethernet port includes Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality for easy cable management and plug and play installation. This NVR provides advanced security and playback software including Smart Analytics and Facial Recognition to assist in reviewing and sorting through footage to easily locate specific recordings. Smart Analytics and Facial Recognition features can only be utilized when cameras that support those features are connected to the NVR. The NVR supports up to 8K resolution (5312 x 2988) and can record HD footage up to 160 Mbps across all eight channels. In case of network interruption or connection loss, the NVR can automatically record footage to inserted external storage devices and transfer files back to the NVR when connection is restored.
This NVR supports Smart Analytics software, dramatically improving the quality of your surveillance network and captured footage. Smart Analytics software simplifies reviewing saved footage for specialized surveillance tasks. By connecting a Speco Analytic camera to the NVR, you can review footage through the Speco management portal using Smart Playback functions, such as drawing a line or box across a specific area of a recording in order to rapidly search for activity within the selected area. Additionally, this NVR is compatible with cameras that use Facial Recognition technology, enabling you to catalogue and identify images of subjects seen within your surveillance network for more efficient reviewing of recorded footage.
Built-In Hard Drive for Convenient Storage
Each 8-Channel NVR comes equipped with a pre-installed multi-terabyte hard drive to store recorded video and audio and employs H.265 compression for optimized storage. Its HDD storage can also be optimized by switching between low- and high-quality streaming during simultaneous "Continuous + Sensor" or "Continuous + Motion" modes.
Easy Access To Footage Via Mobile App
View live and stored video from anywhere, anytime through the free SecureGuard or Speco Blue mobile apps for iOS and Android devices. From your smart mobile device, you'll be able to view live video footage as well as playback, pause, rewind, and fast forward recorded footage. This allows you to monitor your home from any location with an Internet connection no matter your location.

A web-enabled PC or MAC computer is required to operate the NVR. You can access the network via Speco One and SureGuard VMS, and supported Internet browsers.
Installation Details
The NVR can be placed on a tabletop or rack mounted. Connect any Speco IP cameras to the recorder with ethernet cables. Once the connections are set up, use the EZ Wizard tools to quickly set up your surveillance system. The 8-Channel 8K NVR connects to the Internet to provide remote management and access to the system and enables you to playback footage, adjust settings, and monitor connected cameras from any Internet enabled device. Cameras can auto-enroll into the NVR over built-in PoE+ connections, making installation quick and simple.
