Sisters Hank and Queenie Mahoney are dancing singers who arrive in New York City on Broadway, where their friend Eddie Kerne is acting as the protege of their new Francis Zanfield variety act. Eddie and Hank have known each other for a long time and even want to get married, but when the young man sees Queenie, he falls in love with her crazy and, having changed his plans for a future marriage, begins to court the blond sister.

Meanwhile, Jock Warriner, A rich man and a representative of high society in New York, having laid eyes on Queenie, gives her a diamond bracelet and demands obedience and love, but only after a few weeks the girl will realize that she has become a toy in the hands of a cold-blooded gentleman.
