• Installation & Care: For optimum infrared heating results to heat people or objects, mount each heater 6 apart at 7 to 10 high and tilt housing 15-20 degrees towards the target. Prior to each use, wipe element device with damp cloth to remove dust.

The Fostoria OCH-Series can be surfaced mounted using the supplied mounting brackets which allow up to a 45 horizontal tilt adjustment. This bracket provides the necessary clearance required to mount each unit to a ceiling or overhead structure. Unit does require a 12 clearance from any vertical (wall) combustible surface. Unit housing contains a textured high-temp powder coated finish. Includes an electrical enclosure assembled to one end of the heater housing and (2) 6 long lead wires for direct field connection. There is no cord, thermostat, switch or remote included with this heater. We recommend wiring this unit to a properly sized line voltage thermostat; for indoor use our model ET9D4TS, outdoor use our model TW155A. Other control options include using a variable wattage device such as our model VHC-15 or VHC-32. Please follow all installation instructions that accompany each heater.
