UPS offers standby protection for PCs and peripherals to prevent data loss and system downtime by providing battery-compatible AC output during brownouts and blackouts. 12 widely spaced output receptacles in a compact, mountable housing accommodate large transformer plugs without blocking outlets. Six outlets provide full battery support and surge suppression. Six additional outlets with surge suppression only are ideal for accessories that do not require battery support. Single-line telephone suppression jacks protect modems, fax machines, cordless phones, or other directly connected peripherals, sharing a standard telephone or DSL line connection. USB communications interface with Poweralert monitoring software (via web download) and hardwiring allows for safe, unattended system shutdown. Audible alarm and front panel LEDs offer status information on line and battery operation. The 900va/480w power handling capacity supports entry-level parts for up to 45 minutes during power failures.
