The VIQUA S5Q-P/12VDC Silver Series UV Water Treatment System provides dependable ultraviolet water treatment wherever 12-volt DC power is required. Ideal for off-grid homes, cabins, cottages, RVs, boats, and other remote applications, it treats water at a rated flow of up to 5 gallons per minute while consuming only 26 watts. Water passes through a compact 304 stainless steel chamber, where a high-performance UV lamp provides consistent UV treatment without adding treatment chemicals or changing the waters taste or odor. The lamp delivers reliable output throughout its 9,000-hour operating lifeapproximately one year of continuous use. Designed for straightforward installation and maintenance, the S5Q-P/12VDC features 3/4-inch MNPT inlet and outlet connections, a quick-lock lamp connector, power indicator, and audible lamp-failure alert. The UV lamp can be replaced without disconnecting the water supply. The chamber measures approximately 22 x 2.5 inches, making it suitable for installations where space is limited. For continued performance, replace the genuine VIQUA S463RL UV lamp every 12 months. Inspect and clean the QS-463 quartz sleeve during lamp replacement, and replace the sleeve if it becomes damaged or cannot be fully cleaned. Proper pre-filtration may be required based on incoming water quality.
