The VisionTek USB 3.1 Type-C to VGA Adapter lets you connect your Mac, PC or laptop with DisplayPort over USB-C port to a VGA monitor, TV or projector. This adapter is also compatible with all systems that have a Thunderbolt 3 port. You can run mirrored or extended desktop display configurations at resolutions up to 1080p FHD (1920 x 1080 @32-bit color) at 60Hz. Simply connect the adapter to the USB-C port on your Macbook, PC or laptop to your VGA display. Plug and play operation - no software drivers to install. Requires USB-C port which supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (not all USB-C ports/systems support Alternate Mode functionality) or Thunderbolt 3 port. Plug and Play installation on any Windows, Mac, or Linux host which supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode (Alt Mode) video output functionality. Most current phones and tablets with USB-C ports do not support Alt Mode video output.
